Rohit Sardana was an Indian journalist, editor, columnist, anchor and media personality. He was a commentator and debater hosted Taal Thok Ke, a debate show which discusses contemporary and social issues on Zee News. He left Zee News to join Aaj Tak in 2017, and hosted the debate show Dangal.
Personal life and education :
Rohit Sardana was born in Haryana, India. He did his secondary schooling from Gita Niketan Awasiya Vidyalaya, Kurukshetra, Haryana. He has a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. He completed his academic work to earn a post graduate degree in mass communication from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, Haryana. He didn’t like to share personal information, so he has never revealed his parents, siblings or his affairs. But, he was married man and father of two daughters. From 2002 to 2003, Rohit Sardana worked as a trainee copywriter, From this he got lots of knowledge about Anchoring, Copywriting, Editing, production and post production. Including these he also learnt about the functioning of 24 Hours News Channel. High skill shown by him in karmakshetra gave him recognition in the news world.
In the year 2003, He started working as an assistant producer for the Sahara Samay. In 2004, He joined Zee News as an Executive Director, News presenter, Anchor and a host, where he hosted the popular debate show Taal Thok Ke. He was a senior anchor at Aaj Tak and hosting the popular debate show Dangal. He formerly worked with the ETV Network and Aakashvani.
The best show hosted by Rohit Sardana in his career was KarmaKshetra. whose primary objective was reporting, for an Indian audience, the state of political accountability in India. The programme question answer format focuses on Members of Parliament with Sardana variously challenging and questioning the MP’s using a detailed report of their work.
